....whom we humbly serve. The wind bloweth where it listeth and the sun shines on the just and on the unjust, and the rain falls upon the righteous and upon the unrighteous. But how great, how great and how joyful is the feeling in heaven when the wind of God, blowing across the Earth, meets with a ready soul, one whose mind and heart are open to receive the wind of grace, even as the Earth wind seems to rejoice when it meets the wings of the windmill, and these great wheels, these great wings begin to work to turn around, and the mill begins its work. And the grain is made into the meal which feeds the hungry, that brings comfort to the body of men. When the wind of God, the holy and the divine power meets, as it were, the open mind, and the windmill of the heart begins to work, then the spiritual grain is brought together, the patience, the tolerance, the humility, the forbearance, all these things are brought together and they form in the sack of love, And they are poured into the mill and the windmill begins its work.
The wind is the thought from the mind of God, and the one with the ready mind, the open mind, the one that has taken the trouble to store up in the granary of his own heart, the ingredients necessary, the grain, which will he used to make, to create the very bread, the very bread, of life.
And we would have you know that the mills of God grind slowly but they grind exceeding small. Very slowly, so slowly that often the Earth span is nearly finished before many of the chosen ones realise their mission, their purpose in life, and their relation-ship to the Father. But all is well. All is well. When these precious windmills start to work it matters not whether the wind begins its work in the daytime or in the darkness of night, in the middle of the summer with all around bathed in the light and warmth of the sun, or whether the winter of old age has approached. And the elements may be cruel and fierce. It matters not. The only thing of any import is that the windmill receives the wind and begins its holy work. And that which is created through these divine windmills or agents scatters across the face of the Earth. The food to the soul is being made.
And sure enough, just as surely as the Earth mills bring forth the bread to fill the bellies of the hungry, so will the bread of life, the divine dough be shared, be received by those who are ready for it, who ask for this special bread, for this special food, food for thought, food for the spirit, food for the mind, and for the soul. These are they who truly know the value of spiritual food. And they shall receive, albeit, the windmill itself will not know, cannot now, where the bread, the finished product is laid. On whose table, on whose plate, in this kitchen or that. It matters not to the windmill and it must matter not to thee.
Be still. Wait patiently, be quiet. just be willing, with absolute faith, absolute trust, and with the inner peace that passes all understanding - wait for the wind of God, the divine breeze, to stir thy holy sails. The grain is already there. Remember the meekness, the mildness, the desire to bring peace to others, the kind and loving healing thoughts, this is the sacred grain, and from the holy mill shall the very bread, the very bread of life be brought and given to all who are hungry and thirsting after righteousness.
The stillness and the quiet is very, very important. And this must be so. Otherwise, it is like a sail that is in the air but fastened with chains. Desire, jealousy, selfishness, wilfulness, these are the ropes that keep the sails of the windmill from turning. Cut them, break all the chains that bind, and now the sails can turn, and all will be well.
Thou shalt hunger no more, neither thirst any more, and all the tears shall be wiped from thine eyes.
An open mind allows the Divine to enter in. This slowly guides our life and actions through the gradual development of an inner knowing of the right actions. Patience, tolerance and humility are developed — in essence unconditional love. This is the “grain”. Then with absolute trust, willingness to help, this one will be guided where to help. Will this absolute trust in this guidance will lead to inner peace. “Tears shall be wiped from thine eyes”.
Mental quiet is needed as otherwise our mind works on our needs, wants and desires and stops the windmill turning.
The image of the windmill and not knowing whose table its bread reaches echoes the Bhagavad Gita's teaching of acting rightly without attachment to the outcome.
There’s great comfort in knowing that a sense of joy is felt when a soul becomes open to receiving this help.
