My child and my ward. Because you did not record the teaching stone concerning the stone state we will try to refresh your memory concerning the state of the soul which we refer to as the state of the stone.
And we bring you a perfect gem placed on a purple cushion. This is symbolic and it is to show you that this gem, that this stone is very, very, precious. And a precious gem that is brought to the feet of those in authority upon a purple cushion, must be of great value and would not, or could not, come easily or lightly to the possessor. This is symbolic. Do you understand?
Before this precious gem could give forth of its absolute perfection, its perfect lustre, its indescribable beauty, it naturally had to go through many, many processes of cleansing, polishing and refining. Child, thou knowest a little concerning the stone, and the strata, and the materials which make up the Earth, and your knowledge is enough to enable you to understand the countless centuries, and the work of the experts to bring such a gem into being. How much more, how much more do you think that the soul, through the countless centuries has endured before it can attain and become in the state of this stone. The stone cannot see, it cannot hear, it cannot feel, it cannot imagine, it cannot endure, and yet this thing can become so beautiful, so exquisite, and it can give so much pleasure. Think of a human soul that at last has become as beautiful, as crystal clear, as pure, and as lovely as this stone. Think of the power that can emanate from such a soul. It is a living thing. It is hard only in as much as it refuses to absorb anything that is not real, that is untrue, that is false. Therein is its quality. Its so-called hardness. It refuses to absorb anything alien to God, to truth and to love. It regenerates, and sends forth in a thousand different hues, in a thousand different facets, all the wonderful things that love can create. Everything, wisdom, understanding, sympathy, compassion, perfect love. All healing, Oh for the time when all souls have reached the state of the stone.
You have asked in your thoughts for this, shall we call it a refresher course. and we have enlarged upon it because day by day the mind is becoming more and more receptive. And in the future, child, we shall bring thee, upon the velvet cushion, the red rings of love. And we will discuss the state of the rose.
The Heart of It
The soul is gradually refined through long experience into a state of incorruptible purity, clarity, and spiritual strength. The “stone” is not presented as something cold or lifeless, but as a symbol of the perfected soul: one that has undergone countless processes of cleansing, polishing, and refinement until it becomes incapable of absorbing falsehood, illusion, or anything “alien to God, to truth and to love.” In this state, spiritual maturity is a purity so complete that it not only resists what is untrue, but radiates wisdom, compassion, healing, and love in many forms. The message is therefore both reassuring and demanding: that suffering, testing, and long development are not meaningless, but part of the soul’s slow transformation into something spiritually precious. It hints at what a wonderful thing it will be when all souls have reached this state.
