We greet thee in the name of the Master whom we humbly serve. In your prayer you thank God for your health, eyesight, and hearing and all the other faculties of the human body which make life so much easier. And indeed, we appreciate the fact that good health, whilst one is upon the Earth plane is indeed a great blessing. But pray and be thankful even more so, for the inner vision and the inner gift of hearing even as Samuel heard the voice of the Lord.
These gifts of good health, good eyesight, good hearing, are indeed very valuable, and there are they who live in fear and dread of losing these wonderful faculties. But everything upon the Earth has its spiritual counterpart, and in very truth, the Earthly things, appertaining to the Earth and to the human body, are but a shadow of reality, a shadow of truth. And the vision of the eye is very wonderful, and to see, and to be able to behold the glories of God's handiwork upon the Earth is indeed a pleasure. But one must realise that in the course of Earth life, look upon the negative and the ugly. One must look upon pain and sorrow, poverty, greed, and all the things which are alien to the love of God. And blessed indeed is the one who develops the inner vision. The one that can see through the distortion, through the pain, through the disease, through the poverty, the love, the Spirit, the real and the true. For such a one the ugly things of the Earth begin to fade and fade and although, because of their developed sensitivity, they can feel and see much more than the ordinary, undeveloped person, they also have the comfort of their realisation of their relationship with the Spirit.
And when such a one is in the company of a sick or diseased person, who cannot, because of the pain and misery and the awful hopelessness, because of these things they cannot feel or see a spark of comfort or joy, or feel, as it were, the healing power, but the one with the true vision, sees through unto its very self in the other person, can link up with the One, with the life force, with the absolute, and bring the healing and the very peace and the very love of the Father unto His own. They are, as it were, connecting links, tubes, channels, instruments, and in some way the help is given and is forthcoming.
We need not repeat, because we have told you so many times, that the law is perfect, and that the bodies of men are made up of matter, which, like all things of the Earth, must decay and go back to the Earth from whence it cometh. But the one with the true vision, the true hearing, the true feeling, knows and beholds the life and the Spirit within.
And to stand around the bed of a loved one, and to look upon the pain-ridden, tormented form that one has loved so much, is a terrifying, ugly, and a very unhappy state to be in. And it affects the all-seeing one, the one with the vision, because of the human counterpart, because of the human part of their nature. But nevertheless, there is at all times in such a one, a peace which passeth all understanding. And through such a one we can work to bring about easement, and upliftment, and a sense of comfort to those who have not the eyes or the ears to see or to hear. And so, as you make your daily way and you look and listen to one here and there in pain, the boy, Miss Harry, and no doubt many others will cross your path, remember these things and when you pray for the gift of good eyesight, good hearing, and all the other marvellous faculties of the human body, give thanks, as we know you do, for the inner vision, and the wonderful listening ear into which we whisper continually, and know that you do hear and that many times during the day, you obey us, not only in the big things, but in the little things.
And now, surely, knowing this and believing, your faith will become even stronger, and in the face of all adversity, and although you must endure, because of your sensitivity, the sufferings of others, you will be strong and still within yourself. And this very strength, this very stillness, this very peace, will radiate it's rays, it's power, it's absoluteness into your own body, into your own bloodstream, into your own brain, and you will not retaliate, you will not give way, you will be absolutely in tune with your inner self, your inner vision, your inner hearing, your inner faith, and your body will be able to react to alien forces. This is the secret, think on these lines, know that what we are saying is true, and your body will not suffer as the others. Bless them, pray for them, help them all you can, and may God hasten the day when their inner vision and hearing will be open unto them.
They must choose, they must choose to choose the love of God, Few are chosen, because they do not want to believe and to know. They prefer to meander along the by-ways and the cul-de-sacs of the Earth. But they will return to the main highway which will lead them home. Be at peace. God bless you.
The non-physical senses, this transcript says are even more wonderful that the physical ones. They state that the development of these can lead, with perhaps faith, to protection from illnesses: “ your body will not suffer as the others”. What is particularly enlightening and thought provoking is that one with this inner vision “sees through unto its very self in the other person”. Is this recognising the Christ-spirit within both? The realisation that ultimately there is no separation.
