It is with love that we receive thy thanks and thy love.
And you pray and thank God for the light, for those things which have been revealed unto you. You thank God for his understanding and his wisdom. But we say unto you that it has been said,
"I am the light of the world”
And when, as you have done, you have taken unto yourself the great task of searching and seeking, then you have bidden, when you start these things, you demand that the tiny thing, the Spirit of God, the seed within yourself, the Christ spirit, to rise within you. To develop and to mature, and by so doing you created your own light.
The light, the Christ, the light of the world. And this very light is the lamp that shines from within yourself.
You have prayed for those that are filled with fear. These are they who dwell in the darkness and comprehend it not. These are they who have no knowledge of the light within themselves. They do not know that if they would open the shutters of their own minds, as you have done, the light would shine forth and the way be clear.
When we say the way would be clear, this does not mean that every stumbling-block, every whirlpool in life would be removed, but the faith, the understanding, is in the heart and one is able to to overcome, realising that all these things are but an experience. And because you have prayed for the light, you have made it your own and it shines so brightly because of thine own true vision that in the depths of physical ailments and a certain amount of pain, discomfort, and mental tiredness, you thank God for your blessings, you thank God for the love and for the help and for the kindness shown to you from your Earth friends and from your friends over here on the other side. This is light. This is light, understanding, wisdom, from the heart and wisdom from the mind.
We fill you with love. We heal where we can, we heal and comfort where the law allows. The natural laws must be obeyed or there would be chaos. But in your mind you are absolutely free. You can demand, and you can create through the powers of your mind, and because of this you have created friendship, loyalty, which are your very own. This is because you have sent forth the light from within yourself and these little ones, seeing it, sensing it, have followed the ray right back to the centre, to the starting point, which is yourself.
Even though you must sit and feel so immobile and still thou art creating, thou art a centre of power, be not afraid.
Absorb the 'I Am'. Absorb the Spirit and send it forth in shafts of pure spiritual light. Sit perfectly still and all shall come to you. For thou art creating, not with the machinery of the body or the world, the Spirit everlasting, eternal, indestructible, and you are also building that future body that is perfect, a beautiful, body to hold for another experience in the spirit.
I am the light of the world" (John 8:12) is claimed here not just as Christ's own statement but as something to be earned and made one's own: the light isn't received passively, it's created — by demanding the "tiny seed" of Christ Spirit within to "rise, develop, and mature." Searching and seeking, on this account, is itself the act of lighting the lamp, not merely preparation for it.
What the light offers is carefully limited and made honest: "this does not mean that every stumbling-block, every whirlpool in life would be removed." The clarity promised is of faith and understanding, not of circumstance — the capacity to meet pain, discomfort, and tiredness as "but an experience" and still give thanks, not the removal of the pain itself. Physical stillness and even immobility are shown as no obstacle to this — the transcript insists directly, "thou art creating," even while the body sits motionless.
Its most powerful image is relational: friendship and loyalty gathered in life are described as people who, sensing the light shining outward, "followed the ray right back to the centre... which is yourself" — connection understood not as something sought or earned socially, but as a natural consequence of light genuinely shining. The closing instruction, "absorb the 'I Am'... sit perfectly still and all shall come to you," returns to the same core teaching running through this whole collection, offered here as something to actively practise rather than simply believe.
