You came as a tiny babe to the Earth. You already knew that we were hoping, the keeper of the stone, myself, and many, many, many, others, that these tapes, these recordings, would be made. In those days this machine had not been invented, but we knew that in the future these things would be possible, and these recordings would be able to be made in this fashion.
And many times your guide, the keeper, has come into my presence and said, "I think she has forgotten. I do not think I shall be able to break through. You must help us. You must give us more of your power," And together, we have prayed to the most high God, and we have called upon the love of the great masters. And we watched you through your training in the medical profession, as you were learning to understand people, human nature, and the reaction of sickness upon the body and mind.
All the time we watched closely. Although on your particular vibration the keeper remained with you at all times. And only a thought was needed in your mind concerning religious things, religious questions, anything to do with the Spirit or soul, and immediately he was at your side. Sometimes intermingling with your very self, with your aura. And if he needed me in turn, he would send out a thought, and as quick as thought, quicker than sound, faster than sound, I was at his side, intermingling with his aura, and his very self.
Also, as your relatives and friends have come over to the other side, we have met with them and talked with them, and told them and showed them the purpose and the plan, and they have all realised the importance of this little mission.
Because there are countless thousands all over the world who have these guides and these bands, hoping to get through, hoping to help so that the one on Earth with the gift, with with the power, with the understanding, will leave some mark, something behind them, that if it is only a small number of little Earth children, shall learn and give out and in their turn leave their mark upon the sands of time.
And all these are hoping and working and praying continually in the Spirit world to bring these objects about. And now you are beginning to see the importance of the work which you have done.
First of all there were the long years of training in the ordinary, everyday world of human experience. And then, we had to bring into your sure, onto your vibration, into your life, a sensitive, whom you could trust and work with.
And then again, time had to be found. There had to be that brought into your life which would make it possible for you to do these things without unnecessary hardship.
Now can you see how everything has been arranged? You realise that you could not here done this particular work whilst you were working in other fields. How everything, if you look closely, has been timed with perfect precision. You feel a little disappointed at times because you yourself
would like to see the fruits of these labours, and you feel that you would like to give and to share the joy which has been given to you with others. But it will take time, as you realise, to find those who are ready to receive these particular teachings and thoughts.
Also, a very important factor is this, we shall need someone, on the medium's vibration, and also one who has not passed on and been in the Spirit world too long, to help us, for a strong, sound, human link. And when you first pass over to our side of the veil, we shall be able to use you in a way that we cannot use any of the other friends.
Because it will take so much time as you know, for the absolute break, the absolute break of certain cords. We cannot explain it to you in any other way, because you would not understand. But while these, we will call them cords or links, are intact, you will be invaluable to us as far as Earthly contacts are concerned.
And also you will be able, not only to join in the work, but you will be able to enjoy it, Mary, because you will be full of life, full of power, full of energy, you will not be tired, you will be able to move QUICKLY FROM place to another, and you will enjoy it. And you are so close, so close to the medium that you will be able to almost talk, and as we give you advice, you will pass it on to the medium in a much clearer way than we.
You see now you have to sit and put yourselves apart from ordinary, everyday things, but you will be able to contact the medium at a moment's notice, and she will be able to hear you and sense you even in the midst of her daily routine, her everyday chores.
And there are many already entering into her vibration will be used to help and to further the work.
Now if you feel that any recording is for your own personal self and could not in any way benefit another, then do with this as you will. But the others keep, and you have placed them. And there will be others. But mostly the personal messages, the personal help, and the confidential conversations, are between very, very, old and trusted friends.
We bless your house, we bless your garden, we bless your friends, and all those for whom you pray. We want you to try to enjoy your everyday life, and we will help you both to achieve and obtain as much happiness as it is possible to obtain under the circumstances.

The purpose given is modest and specific, not grand: not fame or wide influence, but that "a small number of little Earth children" might learn something and, in turn, leave their own mark — one small transmission handed forward, rather than a movement.
