It seems to you, my child, that I have not been quite so near. But let me make it known unto you that I can come into your presence if you really need me at any time. But I have been, as it were, further afield of late. Because as your time to come hence draws nearer and nearer there is much preparation, and much working out of situations to be done. And everything must be in perfect order when you arrive. And there is so much preparation going on at the moment, we cannot help but feel that at times you must feel the excitement, because all this love and all this work is concentrated upon your coming here. And there are so many that are interested and waiting patiently for this very same time.
And so, perchance, you have felt that I have not been quite so near, but it is not this at all. I can be called upon at any moment of time. But it is a wonderful thing to be able to go, as it were, out of the aura of one's ward and charge without fear. There have been times in the so-called past, that I could not leave you for a moment, because you had not built up this protective wall sufficiently. But now I am pleased to say that your own way of 1ife, your own way of thinking, your own diligent searching for that which is good in the sight of God, the protective wall is now complete. Psychic forces can no longer affect you, and when you feel depressed and anxious, and begin to wonder how much longer you can cope with the physical body and the daily tribulations of your Earth life, it is simply human tiredness, physical fatigue, and is a perfectly natural thing.
But now we will talk about the importance of the open mind because you have been discussing this very thing. And you remember that it was said that those men who walked with the Master, Jesus, who had seen at first hand, and witnessed His miraculous powers, who ate and slept with Him, who walked and talked with Him through the long days, even these could not understand. Even these had that taint, that human weakness of wanting everything just for themselves. Of being prejudiced and narrow-minded. And when they saw others, not in their immediate circle, healing the sick, they ran to Jesus and, forgetting the power of the universal Holy Ghost, said, "Master, there are they that are healing in your name." And this they resented.
And the gentle, wise, great, and loving soul simply said, "Those who are not against us, are for us." And even now they could not understand. Because still they were human enough to want to keep the power unto themselves and their own small group.
And so it is to this very day. But still the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the seed of God in man is universal. And not to be taken by this one or that unto themselves alone. There to stay the power of love is a creative power and it matters not who uses it, if they have attained it through love, it matters not whether they have studied the teachings of Christ, the teachings of Buddha, or no teachings at all, from the lips and the mind of another man. It is enough, they are religious in the God sense, they serve and that top which they have, they share with others. They bring hope and peace and healing and comfort to the troubled hearts and minds of their fellow men. What can a name mean? What can a sect or a cult mean? Absolutely nothing. They are serving the God who is simply love. They are recreating the true and only power which can build up, create, bring into being, all that is good and true and perfect.
And as you said, my child, let us not dwell on the narrow-minded, childish stupidity of these people who will insist on keeping this power unto themselves, only to be used, for this particular group or sect.
We thank you also for the opportunity to meet in this way, because we have work to do which we have chosen, because of our training and because we cannot progress without doing certain work which we have pledged ourselves to do. And we find it so difficult because we can only work through the open mind. We cannot come, ats it were, uninvited. There has to be from the aura of the one who would make contact, a certain light which is an invitation. And although we are always waiting to serve and to help, without this invitation, this putting everything else on one side and inviting us in, we cannot really do that which we would do, and which we regard as our own special service to God.
You remember that Jesus said, "Lo, I stand at the door and knock, and if any man opens up to me I will enter in and sup with him?" And you realise by these words that even the Master Himself, the very Spirit of Christ, with all its power and it's absolute perfection, cannot force, cannot force an entry into the mind of man who is not ready and willing to accept. Because this would be a breaking of the law of which not one tittle is altered. It would be a breaking of the law of free will. A taking away of that gift which is the birthright of every living soul.
And you thank God for this little meeting and we thank God that through His grace your minds have been opened to allow us to enter in. And you remember the last time we talked, we were talking about the individual fires which people keep going by using the fuel of longings and desires and cravings, they use their substance and their energy, physical and mental to procure this fuel so that they may sit and gloat, as it were, over the puny flames, over that which means so much to them, and yet, it is nothing. In a twinkling of an eye these fires could be put out and go back as ashes and dust into the Earth.
But before one can realise that these fires are not real, that they will disappear and become as nothing, one must realise within one's own being, that nothingness is the perfect state. Not to crave, not to desire, not to long, only for God. Not to want to procure material possessions, not to lust for power so that one can rule and overcome others. All these things which they are continually doing to keep their own individual fires burning.
But, to return to the inner self, and there to find the Divine spark, the spark of Divine love which lies, for the most part, dormant in the average person. Waiting to be fanned into a flame that will never, never go out, and which will not only bring pence and comfort to the one concerned, but will bring warmth, comfort, and healing to all who come near to, and make contact with, the person who has left his own worldly, material, physical fire, and returned inward to that Divine spark, and through right thinking meditation, sincere prayer, and a simple faith, has gradually fanned this spark into a warm, living, everlasting flame. And no matter how the winds of change alter things in the material world around, however much the outward world becomes more and more noisome, and m and more polluted with the smoke arising from the individual, sensual flames of the personal fires, the one who has brought into being the flame of sternal life will not really feel these impacts from the world.
And so we go back again to the great value, to the wonderful power which one receives through mowing, through boing aware, of his nothingness. Of seeing the flesh and the bones for what it is, something that will perish end be no more. And realising this and not being afraid, and being as it were, care-less as regards the material things. Free from care concerning all things which will perish and relying absolutely, by his own quiet mind, realising that all about him his soul body is becoming. And the more he realises in tl great stillness of his mind, his nothingness, his Spiritual body his soul body, is developing. It cannot develop or become if he is continually chasing the fuel to keep the own fires of his personal longings and cravings alight.
And it is in this state of mind, that we can help and enter in. It is in this state of mind that you lay the table, as it were, with all good Spiritual things, true nourishment for the Spirit and for the soul. And it is in this state that you open the door and through the grace of God, and of the Spirit of Jesus the Christ we enter in and we sup with you, and we refuel, not in the material way but in the Spiritual way. And the body reacts. We want you to believe that the body draws something from this Spiritual feast which we partake of together in the mind.
And this recharging of the Spirit is something which you will not understand until you are free from the flesh, and you will see just how it works. For we do not come to create sensation. We do not come because we want to be known for ourselves, by name, and who we are matters not. But because we know you love us. We are still in a way human enough to enjoy this love which you extend to us. We bathe in this soft beautiful power which you send out to us. And we feel humble and grateful that whilst still in the boat, whilst still receiving, as it were, blow after blow, through the dark psychic forces emanating from the minds and the shallowness of thought all about you, your faith is such that you open the door unto us. And the Spirit of Christ within you.
This transcript opens with real news rather than teaching: the guide's own absence has been noticed and explained honestly — not distance but preparation, work being done ahead of Mary's own passing, and a new, hard-won freedom to leave her aura without fear now that "your own protective wall is now complete," psychic vulnerability no longer requiring constant watching. Her remaining depression and fatigue are, again, plainly named as physical rather than spiritual — the same careful separation this collection has made before.
Its first real teaching concerns spiritual gatekeeping: the disciples themselves, walking beside Jesus in the flesh, still resented others healing in his name outside their own circle — "those men... even these could not understand" — and the transcript uses "those who are not against us are for us" (Mark 9:40) to insist that the Holy Spirit belongs to no sect or teaching. Someone who serves through love, whether steeped in Christ's teaching, Buddha's, or none at all, is doing the same work; the label attached is, in the transcript's own blunt phrase, "absolutely nothing."
Its second, sharper image is of individual fires kept burning by "longings and desires and cravings" — small, personal flames, tended anxiously, that could be extinguished "in a twinkling of an eye" and mean nothing lasting. Against these is set a different flame entirely: the "Divine spark," present but dormant in most people, fanned into permanence through prayer, meditation, and simple faith, and — crucially — unreachable while someone remains preoccupied feeding their own small fires. Real nothingness, the transcript insists, isn't loss but the precondition for this larger flame: only by ceasing to chase fuel for personal cravings does the space open for something that "will never, never go out."
Its closing turn is unusually tender: the guides describe themselves as "still human enough" to genuinely enjoy the love sent toward them, "bathing" in it, humbled and grateful rather than simply dispensing help from a position of remove — presence and gratitude running in both directions, not only from Earth toward spirit.
