We bring you, Mary, the red rose of love and compassion. This you can, in your imagination, place into the clear, crystal, living water, that which you also draw to yourself. And the living waters of your thoughts and prayers will keep alive the rose of love in your heart. But the greatest treasure is the stone. The symbol of overcoming, the symbol of giving, giving and receiving only the light and love of God which can radiate in the centre of the stone and send forth in many facets, many colourful, glittering facets, the one facet for one, another for another, supplying in some we mysterious way which you cannot understand the need of all those who you love, who you pray for, and those who you feel need the love of God, but you yourself cannot do anything, but a certain light, a certain gleam from the stone itself will reach them. Be at peace. Love one another. Count your many blessings, and let the future take care of itself.
While the body holds, we can only encourage you to use your imagination and to enlarge the vista of the mind through strong and positive thought. And because you can feel and see and touch and hear, because these senses have been developed, you have the knowledge of beauty and you know what, in the mind, beauty is. A beautiful sound, perchance the sound of music, a beautiful creature, a beautiful scene, a beautiful sky or a beautiful work of art, can be appreciated through the sense of seeing. Do you think that all these wonderful things have been made your own and that in the end they shall die and perish and be no more? They have not been given to you just for the moment, but you have been given also with these great physical gifts, a storehouse, the mind, wherein you can store all those wonderful things of nature, of love, of beauty, of kindness, of tender memories. Each one of these precious thoughts that have been placed in the storehouse of your mind are something which you desired, which you appreciated, which to you at that time were precious. And if these same things stay with you through your journey through life as something of value, then, one by one they are taken into your future place, into your future home, and created anew
According to your thinking and your works and your way of life these precious things are enhanced through no other power but the power emanating from your own highest sense, Therefore, each day, each day as you can sense and feel and see something of beauty, even though your body is crippled and perchance in pain, if your eyes can still appreciate a thing of beauty and your ears too can appreciate the beautiful sounds, then, beloved, dear sister, you are still creating, you are still saying 'Thank you', you are still being humble, practising humility, and those very things are creative in themselves. Cannot you see even though, because of the frailty of the body, the human frame, you can create all good things in your mind for this one and for that? You have more time to do this, more time to close your eyes and to let the imagination and the mind work of its own accord. If you know how to think, if you have been taught through bitter and many painful experiences, to create all that is good, all that is kind, lovely, and beautiful, then now is the time that you can remember your apprenticeship, remember the difficult lessons, and the almost impossible tasks which somehow you overcame. And now you can work overtime. How you have become a craftsman. Now you know all the skills, all the artful tricks of the trade. And in the quiet, without any fuss, without being afraid of making mistakes, you can go into that storehouse and you can see only what you want to see. You have not got to go here and there to serve this one or that in the flesh, and the strengthened spirit, the Spirit that is already feeling the sense of freedom that is to come, and start preparing and working whilst you sit in silence with a humble and grateful heart.
The work is valuable and until you pass you will not realise just how great are the tasks accomplished. And the wonderful thing is that you can do it quietly, peacefully, without anxiety. Do not be afraid of your imagination, do not be afraid to let your mind work, and you remember, many years ago..…
This transcript makes a specific and comforting claim: nothing beautiful, once genuinely appreciated, is lost. Every beautiful sound, sight, or memory treasured in life is described as being stored, and eventually carried forward "into your future home, and created anew" — not preserved as a static record, but actively enhanced, still growing, through "the power emanating from your own highest sense." Beauty appreciated is treated as a form of creation in itself, not passive enjoyment.
Its central reassurance is aimed at physical decline specifically: even a body that is "crippled and perchance in pain" remains fully capable of this work, since it happens in the mind rather than through action. Memory and imagination, on this account, aren't consolation for what a failing body can no longer do — they're the same skill practised in a different form, "now you can work overtime," using an ability built over "many years... bitter and painful experiences" until it became second nature, "all the artful tricks of the trade."
The transcript closes on a note of quiet dignity rather than resignation: this inward work is named as genuinely valuable, its full extent unknown "until you pass," achievable "quietly, peacefully, without anxiety" — offering someone whose body has narrowed their world a way of understanding stillness itself as continued, meaningful labour rather than mere waiting.
